A method of analysis for integrated science curricula has been developed. Curriculum materials of the Dutch project "Integrated Science for Junior Secondary Schools" were compared with some other integrated science curriculum materials (a.o. Combined Science, ASEP, Nuffield 13-16, SCISP and a FUSE-project). The analysis showed two types of integrated science programs and four types of integrated science teaching units. An effort was made to connect these types with the didactical concepts distinguished by Häussler (1973).
