The research reported in the present and following issues deals with the use of handheld computers by kindergarten and elementary school children. lt is three kinds of research: 1. Research on ideas of children about computers and about their use of the computer. 2. Research on dialogues in groups of two children during their use of the computer for a certain subject. 3. Research on the use of computers in real class situations. The aim of the research is: recommendations for instructions with computers based on the use of handheld computers by children.
