Journal of Research in STEM Education (J-STEM) is een multidisciplinair tijdschrift dat zich richt op het verbeteren van de kwaliteit van onderwijs en leren op het gebied van wetenschap, technologie, techniek en wiskunde (STEM) door de resultaten van onderzoek beschikbaar te stellen aan onderzoekers, praktijkmensen en beleidsmakers.

Het tijdschrift dient als platform voor de uitwisseling van ideeën tussen verschillende gebieden van STEM-onderwijs, maar ook tussen wetenschappers uit verwante disciplines.

J-STEM is een internationaal peer-reviewed open access tijdschrift. J-STEM publiceert onderzoeksartikelen op alle gebieden van bèta/technisch onderwijs. Alle artikelen zijn onmiddellijk na publicatie online toegankelijk.

Journal of Research in STEM Education (J-STEM) is a multidisciplinary journal that focuses on enhancing the quality of teaching and learning in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by making the results of rigorous research findings to researchers, practitioners, and policy makers.

The journal serves as a platform for the exchange of ideas between different fields of STEM education but also between scholars from geographically/culturally different parts of the world.

J-STEM is an international peer-reviewed open access journal. J-STEM publishes original research articles in all fields of STEM education. All articles are accessible online immediately after publication. J-STEM assigns highest priority to reviewing original manuscripts that use rigorous quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods studies on topics related to STEM education in educational settings. Such contexts may include K-12, higher education, and informal education contexts such as museums. We also welcome analytical papers that evaluate important research issues related to any field of STEM education.
